My stay over thanksgiving, while in a good location, was horrible. My room was broken into. The window and the screen was open when I returned to my room after spending time with my family. I had the Do Not Disturb placard on the outside of my door. It was freezing cold in the room and it was a terrible violation of my privacy and safety While the manager provided me with another room, the television did not work and the coffee maker also failed to work. I packed up and left, went to the Hampton Inn and as I opened up the front door to book a room, the same manager as was at the Comfort Inn was standing in the entryway at that hotel and told me they were all sold out, which they weren’t as there were very few cars in the parking lot. I’ve yet to receive a refund in spite of the manager authorizing it through Expedia. Expedia has yet to reimburse me also. It wasn’t a pleasant weekend by any stretch of the imagination.
