"Everything was well-maintained and it was obvious that the staff took pride in their work. The only reason I didn't give it a 5-star is that there was the smell of weed coming from another unit which was unpleasant. I would have thought this facility would be smoke-free."

"Chose this hotel to spend a night in the city for my daughters birthday. They really wanted to stay with a pool and hot tub. After arriving at the property we realized that the hot tub as featured on Expedia no longer existed. This was very disappointing as that was one of the main reasons we chose this hotel. The staff at the front desk was very nice but when I called for an extra bath towel as we had 5 in a room and they only stock 4 towels, the staff who answered wasnt the nicest. Breakfast...

"Excellent quality, clean, no surprises. Breakfast surprisingly thorough compared to typical continental breakfasts elsewhere. Shopping or restaurants are a decent drive though, not walkable"

"Couple getaway to Prince Edward County. We visited a winery and stayed in this lovey suite. It was perfect. The ambiance was relaxing and inviting. We were able to cook our breakfast and enjoy some of the eggs of the hosts. I highly recommend to stay at the Owl's Nest Suites, you will be pleased. "

"For the money, this is a decent motel. There's no breakfast, but my unit had a kitchenette, so I made meals and had snacks there, which saved me some $. We did eat out a couple times in the area. We were able to park right in front of our room. The manager was helpful. My bed was hard, which wasn't to my liking, but my brother liked his. The room was spacious. The TV is crap, so bring your own laptop and HDMI cable to watch stuff."

"Timber house is situated close to the lake in a quiet natural setting. The hosts were truly exceptional starting with a delicious breakfast cooked to order. I loved the carrot muffins and french toast. My car broke down in the parking lot and the host was able to connect me with the help I needed. I highly recommend Timber House for a retreat close to quaint friendly towns and nice restaurants. "
