"This is a great spot. It's about 5 minutes from the Opua Ferry and less than 10 from Russell. It's super remote and quiet. Taking our suburban kids (9 and 4) was fantastic. There is a little boat shed at the bottom of the hill and access to a beach which my older kid loved exploring. The beach itself is quite rocky and full of oyster shells so not recommended for swimming but Long Beach near Russell is amazing and only a short drive away. The house itself is clean, tidy and well loved. ...

First is the very steep and dark drive way. I like property with easy access. This was not easy access. Once you got to the top of the drive you have to do a 3 point turn to be able to leave. "Our third visit to this amazing beach house and yet again it didn’t disappoint. The hosts are lovely and have thought of everything to make this a relaxing and well-equipped stay. The location gives you the choice of at least 3 beaches to walk to, or just sit back and watch the campsite and harbour comings and goings. Recommend the linen package if you are flying, super comfortable. Already making plans for our next visit. "
