Bella Vista Retreat is a luxurious home nestled above a lovely deep-water cove (great for swimming, fishing, and boating) with outstanding views!

The house is ideal for accommodating a large extended family or gathering of friends who enjoy water activities or just entertaining indoors and outdoors in a beautiful lakefront setting. This property has it all with your own large in-ground salt-water pool (seasonal), a separate 6-person hot tub, an outdoor kitchen and dining area with an outdoor television, a community dock with a designated boat slip. Every bedroom boasts views of the lake. The house is conveniently located less than 4 miles from major shopping and restaurants in Hartwell, GA

You will appreciate the new high quality custom designer furnishings throughout this home. The large open main floor main living area has everything to offer as your primary entertainment area. Completing the main floor are three bedrooms and two full baths. The master bedroom is outfitted with a king bed, ensuite bathroom with his/her walk-in closets. The second bedroom boasts a king bed, and the third bedroom, a comfortable queen bed. Both the second and third bedroom are equipped with nightstands and a private closet.

Also, the main floor hosts a Chef’s Kitchen with modern appliances and accessories. An extra refrigerator and freezer are available for additional storage in the laundry room. An office space is provided with wireless internet.
The upper level contains the fourth bedroom which is equipped with four trundle beds to accommodate up to eight people. Also included, is a TV.

Last, but not least is the impressive large outdoor living areas. Step out of the house, and you are immediately greeted by a beautiful outdoor kitchen that features a granite countertop with a sink, dorm size refrigerator, and a built-in stainless grill. There is plenty of seating space with multiple decks and well-appointed seating areas at the pool.

This home is pet friendly with a 2 dog allowance and pet fee per dog. Breed must be approved by management prior to arrival.

Family Gathering
The house was absolutely perfect for our family gathering. It is even nicer than the pictures. The kitchen is a cooks dream and the indoor and outdoor entertaining areas were so enjoyable. The rental experience with the host was great. He was always very responsive and made the check in and out an easy experience. We would love to go back again.

Nice and relaxing
This home was perfect for relaxing, playing cards, eating on the covered patio, just hanging out and unwinding. All great things to do when it’s too chilly to be near the lake. We chose to visit the Hartwell Animal Safari as a local activity. Super fun thing to do and hilarious!

This is an impressive, spacious property with innumerable amenities, including the little touches that add to its enjoyment. Enjoy the pool with diving board, as it’s a rare treat these days.

This house is absolutely amazing. Exceeded our expectations. Cleanest property and best stocked kitchen we have ever stayed in with VRBO. Heaven in Hartwell
This is a fabulous large home on the lake in Hartwell. There is plenty of room for multiple people to stay and also to spread out so you never feel crowded. The amenities are great and the hidden game room is a lot of fun! We came for our daughter’s college graduation from Clemson and while it is about an hour away from the school, that turned out to be nice because we were able to get away from all the crowds of people. The house is located on a quiet street and the supermarket, gas station, and other stores are only a 3-4 mile drive down the road. Thank you for a wonderful, relaxing stay :)

Perfection! Everything you need and than some!
Everyone in our group loved the house, starting with the decor, it has more than you need to make your stay perfect!We wanted to come back in the summer, but the property is booked at times we can visit. Fun time by the lake
There were twelve of us and the property was ideal inside and outside. The inside was fitted to a very high standard and a bonus was a large, very well equipped games room, which was great fun in the evenings. Outside, the seating area / BBQ kitchen was perfect on a warm evening and the pool area was easily big enough to accommodate all of us and overlooked the lake. We had a great time.

A great getaway!
We had a wonderful Thanksgiving at this beautiful home. This is our second year staying at this home and we had a wonderful time. The kitchen is nice and big and perfect for cooking Thanksgiving dinner. Plenty of table space for everyone to eat! We had teenagers ranging in age from 12-19 and they all had a great time sleeping upstairs in the bunk room and hanging out in the game room. They also enjoyed the hot tub! The adults enjoyed the beautiful view of the lake, eating yummy food and watching football. It was a wonderful vacation! Thank you!

Gorgeous house packed with amenities!
This house had absolutely everything you’ll need for a family vacation! 4 adults and 2 older teenage boys, and plenty of room for everyone! We rented a boat for 3 days also. The game room and pool were definitely a hit! First time in Hartwell so we enjoyed the little downtown area. The owners were very responsive with any question we had. If we decide to come back to Hartwell, we’ll def be staying here again! An absolutely perfect place for a family vacation. Thank you for letting us enjoy your oasis on Lake Hartwell!

A wonderful week at the lake!
We had a wonderful time at this beautiful home! It was so perfect for our family of eleven. We had 5 adults and 6 teens and pre teens with us. The teens and pre teens love the game room. It has everything they need for a fun week. The backyard outside area of the home is so perfect. We enjoyed breakfast, lunch and dinner on the porch while the kids played in the pool and hot tub. We grilled out many meals and had fun at the table playing cards and being together. We brought a boat and enjoyed boat rides to watch the sunset. It was a beautiful and perfect stay at the lake. We also enjoyed the pool! There is a diving board and the kids perfected their jumps and flips! The kids also enjoyed having their own bedroom upstairs. It is truly a perfect set up for a family with many teens/kids. Lots of refrigerator space too. Such a lovely, beautiful home! This was our second stay and it was better than the first time! We can’t wait to go back again!

Beautiful home for our annual family vacation.
The house is exactly as described. It is a beautiful house. We kayaked and swam in the lake. We swam in the pool and soaked in the hot tub. We played ping pong in the game room. There are lots of board games and puzzles in the laundry room and lots of DVD movies on the shelf and in the drawers in the office room behind the kitchen. Everything is very nice. We picked up pizza one night from New York pizza in town. The Ingles grocery store is just up the road. We drove down and saw the dam that makes the lake. The Botanical Garden in town is beautiful and free to visit. If you like animals or have kids, visit the Lake Hartwell Wildlife Safari about ten miles north of town. It was fantastic and inexpensive, really a good time. We also drove about an hour away to Seneca to Oasis Ranch mini golf. In summary, you can really relax and enjoy the house, but there are also plenty of excursions you can do in the area. Five Stars!

LOVED IT!
I'm a professor and I've learned that lists work for retention...so here is my list as to why this is a vacation home that you have to rent: 1. The view is spectacular 2. Huge saltwater pool 3. Every bed is comfortable! - No joke! 4. The town of Hartwell is very cute and has several excellent restaurants 5. There are only 5 homes on the street so it is SO quiet 6. You can walk to a beautiful park right down the street - we did that every morning at sunrise and loved it 7. The bathrooms and kitchen are all top-notch 8. I didn't want to leave the master suite - I got my own closet:) 9. The home has its own boat slip - we rented a boat and loved Lake Hartwell 10. The kids' "playroom" with ping pong etc. is incredible for kids Bonus - I actually relaxed for a full week - too bad that doesn't happen everywhere:-) Thanks for making a paradise for visitors!

Beautiful home and gracious hosts
This home was the perfect retreat for us. It was well furnished and outfitted. Everything was clean and comfortable. It was well stocked with nice kitchen ware, games, linens, etc. We loved beginning and ending the day in the hot tub with a beautiful view of the lake. And the outdoor lounge area with TV was the prime location for watching college football games. The hosts were gracious and very accessible. They answered texts immediately and resolved the one minor issue we had within 24 hours. The house is located on a quiet street and very close to a park. We walked to the park and back everyday (about 2.3 miles round trip) and enjoyed the nearby damn and hiking trails. We didn't access the lake as much as we had expected. Being less nimble than we would like, we found the distance and slope of the hill to the lake to be more effort than we wanted to expend most days. This wouldn't likely be an issue for those who are younger - I could see young children loving the rolling green hills from the house to the lake. All in all, we had a great experience and would rent from these owners again.

Bella Vista Dreaming
We had a wonderful time at Bella Vista. My parents, my sister’s family as well as my family really enjoyed our time together at the house. They have everything you can think of at the house. Besides a game room with ping pong, foosball, and other games, they have all kinds of family games, board games, card games and puzzles. There were lots of books and tons of DVDs too. The kitchen is well stocked with all the pots and pans, appliances, and utensils one could need. There is even a well stocked spice drawer. We loved having 2 full size refrigerators, 3 mini fridges, and a full size freezer to feed our crowd. Even with a large family, the house was very roomy. We appreciate that there was plenty of space to enjoy a meal together or hang out as a family in the family room. The outdoor living area was nice and their was a really great outdoor kitchen. The large pool and hot tub were super clean and enjoyable. The kids really enjoyed using the diving board. The house has two kayaks, life jackets of all sizes, and a knee board. The house was spotless and spacious. We’d love to come again! It felt like we were staying in our own private resort. We highly recommend this house.

House was great. We had a lot of fun. I would rent this house again. Slightly disappointed that I was not able to put my boat in the slip/dock due to the dock not being pushed out. I even messaged the owner about the boat before I booked the trip.
