Visiting for our daughter’s basketball game @ Uhart. Convenient location, clean, easy entry, 2 parking spots, comfortable bed, good shower pressure, hot water. What else do you need?! We would return. Thank you Jason! Stacey, N.J
Move in trip for a student at Hartford University. Started out horribly, but this property manger saved the day! He went above and beyond professionalism to help us turn a horrible mess into a working plan. Lovely property. Convenient location. Good security and Ridiculously comfortable beds!! Many Thanks for all the help! We will definitely be booking here for our periodic visits.
Beautifully restored historic mansion with the perfect balance of old charm and modern updates. I loved all the natural light and hardwood floors. The kitchen was nicely done as well. The bed was comfortable and the shower was nice with good hot water. Location is convenient to Downtown Hartford, highways, and other nearby cities. Some street noise is to be expected since it is an urban neighborhood.
There could be a couple of improvements around the entrance due to poor drainage and slippery stairs when it was raining.
My only complaint is that we arrived late at night and the building has multiple addresses and I had to circle the building several times to find 782. Also, there was no light to guide us either inside or outside. I am 80 and my sister is 87. Once we were able to find the correct entrance, no problems. I would also suggest a restaurant guide and although we did not need it, perhaps a things to do in Hartford guide. Thanks, we would stay there again and definitely recommend it to others.
The place was cheap, so wasn't expecting much. There was a strong order at the house - generally had to leave the door open to air it out - no windows were able to be opened unfortunately - so it was a bit of a security risk. Many parts of the unit were breaking - broken window in the front, shelves, cracking bed. Didn't think too much of it given it was such a cheap place. However, after checking out, the owner harassed me and blamed me for breaking his 1500$ bed and wanted me to pay him back. He then showed pictures of what broke, and it's apparent in the pictures that the middle feet of his bed were not even supporting the bed. I'm uncertain if this person is trying to scan me now to pay to fix the bed. After all this experience, I would never go back here again.
