"We had a nice view from our patio of the mountains. The sofa, loveseat and bedspread were all fresh and new. The table and other furniture showed wear and the bed/headboard connection squeaked every time we moved. It wouldn't keep us from staying here again, but don't expect fancy. It was nice to have the living area and kitchen. It was very clean and good value for the low price. "This is a second floor apartment, requiring access by a staircase. We were aware that there would be stairs, but these stairs were quite steep and a little uneven. The interior is exactly as presented in the photos. It is comfortable and roomy. We were very happy with this, but the stairs were a bit much for both myself and my wife as we are both in our sixties. "Stayed with my trainer for show at GMHA. Place is lovely and clean, rooms are large, great Wi-Fi so I could do work in evenings. I don’t sleep well away from my own bed normally but the beds are really comfortable and linens and towels soft. I slept great- to my surprise. Also lots of nice places to eat nearby and close to showgrounds. Manager incredibly fast at communicating. Hope it’s available next year- we will be back!"

"The Canaan apartment is spacious and clean. The kitchen with gas stove, full size fridge and has enough counter space to cook. Having a washer and dryer in the unit is so convenient. There were plenty of towels and blankets. The apartment is convenient to pizza, gas station/handy stop, Chinese restaurant, post office and hardware store- I walked to everything. "Great place for 2 couples to relax and enjoy the fall sights.Only problem was the master bedroom bath. The bathtub drain was blocked and took 30 minutes to drain the water. Property owner was unable to get a plumber over the weekend, so I removed the stopper cleaned a lot of hair and waste, replaced the stopper and bathtub drained real good after that. "
