From watching the sunrise over the cow pasture to relaxing in the hammock in the afternoon, cooking out at sunset, and roasting marshmallows over the fire pit at night—this is the Perfect Outdoor Escape!

The space stands at the top of a hill with views in all directions. The house, with screened in porch, and covered patio lend ease and comfort to the viewing as the sun sets and night skies glow. A path winds to a lighted bridge over a lovely stream teaming with life.

The Dairy Barn is a Peaceful Paradise with its own Private Creek. Tucked away in the Ozark Mountains where the stars dance in the clear sky and the only sounds you hear are the chirps of crickets in the still of the night. Sitting on 235 acres of serene countryside where history is woven into the land, a hidden gem is ready to welcome guests. Perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. Everything you need for a relaxing vacation is waiting for you.

We are just a short drive from the Buffalo and White River where you can swim, hike, and float or boat on our beautiful world-famous rivers. Branson and Silver Dollar City are great day trip choices. The closest grocery store is only 10 minutes away. Have fun all day and relax and with us at night. We are peaceful, scenic and away from it all.

Nestled on the hill, the property boasts seclusion and unique advantages. Enjoy relief from the summer heat, a break from the icy cold in winter, and the private natural creek that runs year-round. A playground for kids and nature enthusiasts alike.

This property is steeped in history. The front porch hints of days gone by and sits adjust to where the Historical Olvey Hotel once stood, the ole timers would relax at the hotel and view the entire town of Olvey. Sitting on the banks of Meeks Creek this was once a major railroad in this historic town. The steam train would refuel from Lake Olvey while passengers would relax at the hotel.

Peaceful

Very clean, quite, fully stocked kitchen, tons of towels, there is a creek to drive thru but there is a walk bridge to go over if youre not comfortable driving thru it. Loved getting coffee and sitting outside listening to the animals early morning.

Awesome place for a family weekend

We were extremely pleased with the property. It made the perfect place for a family weekend. They have all sorts of games set up, movies, indoor and outdoor activities, s’mores, fire pit, and plenty of historical things to walk and see around the property. It was peaceful and we loved the feel of the countryside. We really couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Everything, including the finishing touches were excellent! Thanks for letting us stay!

Amazing stay

We had such a good time. It was very nice and peacefully. Loved reading about the history of the farm. My favorite part was the view from front and back. I highly recommend staying at the dairy bar you will not be disappointed. Mrs. Cindy communicated well and if you needed anything she was quick to respond. We look forward staying again in the future.

Boys weekend

My husband, 2 adult sons, their boys and our teenage son stayed for 2 nights for a football tournament and i heard from all of them how great the house and property was! They have already requested to stay there again next year! Lol. Great getaway spot but close to town. Owner was very responsive to questions.

Amazing Property

I absolutely loved this location and it was perfect for my friends and I to get together and enjoy time away. It was adorable and they had so many activities and other things to do. Communicating with the host was easy which was very nice. The only thing I would say to be aware of is that the road to the location is a little rough and there is a creek to cross. There is parking however to the left before you cross. It happened to rain while we were there, but luckily we got my car back across before I wouldn’t be able to. Just something to note if you plan on staying here!

Peaceful, country setting

We really enjoyed our stay at the Dairy Barn! Such a cute, peaceful country setting! They have really thought of everything a guest may need! From water, snacks, laundry needs, and extra toiletries, they have it all! The s’mores bucket and popcorn setup were a hit with the grandkids! We didn’t have a chance to use them, but it was a great idea for guests to enjoy their stay! We loved the history of the property and were excited to see the old hotel spot. We spent time exploring the Buffalo National River! Triple Falls was a great, short hike for the whole family. Eden Falls was also great, but it was a little more strenuous! We are already looking forward to coming back!
