"We were looking for a place away from city lights to watch the annual Persied meteor shower. This location was perfect, far enough from town so it was dark yet close enough if we needed groceries or a restaurant. Unfortunately the weather didn't cooperate and it was completely overcast for our entire stay. Though we didn't see any meteors we enjoyed the peace and quiet of this home. The backyard and pond were great and we found a mowed path to do a little hiking in the woods. The house was pretty well equipped and the pictures were accurate. The only negatives I might have are that if you run out of towels and wash cloths the washer and dryer are coin operated and all of the exterior security cameras. I understand the owner needs to protect his property but it is somewhat unnerving to feel like you are being watched while enjoying the yard. Overall, we would stay here again."
