"1 night stay, so didn't have enough time to try out the pool, but otherwise an enjoyable stay. Staff were amazingly friendly, helpful and informative. Room was nice size with comfy bed and little extras like robes and slippers. Only issue was no shower gel in shower just shampoo and conditioner. Had an evening meal which we thoroughly enjoyed. Possibly a little short staffed in the evening, but the women, who appeared to be the duty manager, was on top of everything and copingg...

The food was stunning although rich and fancy, be nice to have lighter options. Could have been warmer but the fires were on and all radiators all the time and it was in the minus numbers in a very old house so it’s forgiven. "
