"Husband and I had to be out of state on short notice and preferred to not stay in a hotel. Found this AMAZING getaway, close enough to where we needed to be, yet at the end of the day wonderful relaxing nights. Quiet, beautiful, best sleep I have had in years! Campfire at night and work up to deer and turkey visits in the morning. We will be back! "

"The owner was very kind, thoughtful and quick to respond to our messages and questions. The house was clean and just like the pictures. He offered us complimentary meat and eggs. Our grandchildren enjoyed seeing the longhorn cattle, riding a horse and feeding the rabbits on the property. When our older grandson didn’t want a horse ride, the owner let him drive a tractor! "You can’t beat the views from the deck. Great to see the barges float down the river. Cell coverage is difficult (at least with Verizon), but that’s ok so that you can just get away & relax, and enjoy the river life. Took a driving tour along the Ohio River, really enjoyed all the small towns in the area. Great place to get away!"
