Another review of this delight in Mendham, a very convenient and pleasant village pub well situated for anyone working in the east of Suffolk/ Norfolk. Great breakfast, great host, pleasant atmosphere, good evening meals. Very good value for money.

You could ask nothing more from a moderately priced hotel. Lovely traditional room, nice pub food, bar, good shower. Went above and beyond at breakfast time. Beautiful location!

A PEACEFUL HAVEN IN UNSPOILT COUNTRYSIDE
A good night's sleep is assured in a characterful room with beams. Ideal for a walking holiday, as there are miles of wonderful footpaths all around. Beautiful scenery near a river. There is really a "Far From The Madding Crowd" ambience in this unspoilt village.
