"Room was nice, king sized bed and a couch. Wifi wasnt good but that's probably the lake area and nothing to do with the lodge. There was a breakfast buffet on site that you had to pay for. The room had a beautiful view of the lake and they are pet friendly! "

"The online pictures of this property were beautiful, and the property did not disappoint! It was clean, it was well stocked with kitchenware, the view is breathtaking. It was a perfect 3 day getaway for 4 long-time friends. "

"Our experience at Lake Barkley resort State Park was excellent. The food was amazing and the great prices were a nice surprise. The rooms were really nice, the bed was comfortable, The view of the lake was amazing. The only negative was that there was a lot of construction going on and there were not signs telling you where you were and how to get to where you needed to go. When we drove up, it was very difficult to find the door to go in because of all the construction and the lack of instruction with signs. I’m sure that will be better when it’s all finished, however, it could be better now and eliminate a lot of confusion to people who have never been there before. But overall, it was an excellent place to visit and stay and we will definitely come back."
