Beautiful Harbor Springs cottage set on the bluff in the Roaring Brook Association. "Birchgate" has been handed down through generations of the same family. It has a deep history and so many family memories have been made here. It is designed in the true old world cottage style. Lots of bedrooms, large second floor bunkroom and a large dining room that is open to the living room. The porch is an extension of the living room with a sprawling private yard and panoramic views of Little Traverse Bay. Roaring Brook has 2 tennis courts and a beautiful private Beach and dock for guests to enjoy. This is a great opportunity to be part of Harbor Springs history and enjoy all that the Harbor Springs lifestyle has to offer.

Beautiful property. Clean, plenty of room for a big group. Great game room in the heated garage. Hot tub was a bonus.

Amazing classic cottage

We had a fantastic stay. The Cottage was well appointed and had ample space for all of us (13 of us!) to stay and sleep comfortably. The house is real cute and the kitchen is well stocked. We had a great time and would totally stay again!

Lovely Cottage - Perfect for families!

We absolutely loved Birch Gate! We were 6 adults and 3 children and found the home spacious, clean, and simply perfect. The location and private beach can’t be beat. We will definitely look into renting again in the future.

Cozy cottage in Harbor Springs

This was the perfect cottage for our family vacation in Harbor Springs. Cozy, quiet, great location, and just a short walk away from the beach. The front porch was our favorite. We are already rebooked for next year! Thanks!

Great house!

Large gathering of family and friends for the week. Plenty of room for everyone. View and weather was spectacular! Super close to downtown Harbor Springs and a just a short drive to Petoskey. Private beach and dock was perfect !

80th Birthday Week

We celebrated Grampa's 80th birthday, with a trip to Mackinac Island one day and Birthday dinner at the Pier with a Habor cruised in diwntown Harbor Springs. We really enjoyed time on the porch, the beautiful gardens and landscaping. Loved the paved lighted path high above the lake shore and beautiful homes. Cleary the propery has a 5 star rating.

Roaring Brook Heaven

This is a wonderful property in Roaring Brook, with lots of room for a family gathering, or several couples to enjoy together. Our only complaint is that we never received check in instructions. The door was locked when we got there, and after walking around the entire house we found the front sliding door was unlocked and we were able to take it from there. Check in instructions are a must. Other than that we had a great time and hope to come back soon.

Wonderful Stay

We were three families and all had a fantastic time at this house! It was such a charming old home with so much character everyone was impressed with it! The beds were comfortable and it fit all of us so well! It was great that all of the kids slept on the top floor and the adults were on the main floor. We wished we could have seen it in the summer to go check out the beach, but it was still incredible with all the snow. The temperature of the house varied, but that was to be expected in such an old house... the lake side of the main floor, and front of upstairs were chilly, while the main floor front bedrooms and upstairs lake side bedroom were roasting at night with the doors closed. Very responsive owners, and we hope to rent there again!
