"My husband and I stayed here so we could see the glow worms in Waitomo which was about a 25-30 min drive. This place is in a quiet little neighborhood and is represented accurately online. The private community waterhole was so beautiful and peaceful, and the house has everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Would certainly stay here again if in the area!"

"Beautiful location, grounds and cabin. So close to glow worm caves and have their own little glow worm grotto on the property. Only a 60 second walk from the cabins. Also close to a waterfall and black sand beach. Angus was such a gracious host who made sure we had everything we needed including toast jams and coffee. "We stayed for 1 night. The accommodation has everything you need. It was quirky and fun. All rooms very clean and comfortable. Our child loved the bunk bed room. We were very happy to have the milk and bread etc. The night sky was amazing to see from here. Would thoroughly recommend!"

"I was so surprised at the location of this home on the side of the mountain seemingly in the middle of nowhere. The view was magnificent and the location was right off the highway. It was totally of the grid and electric worked as well as very hot water. well stocked kitchen. we loved it"
