"The property was lovely, as was the proprietor. In fact it was really special. What was not special was our rooom. We paid a significant upcharge for a nice room with a terrace, but it was just roof of a porch, and not grand or luxe enough to justify the upcharge. The furniture was not original to the historic hotel."

"Tony was an amazing host. The property was home-y and very spacious. Perfect place to accommodate 2 couples and 2 children (or adults who are children at heart). It was a nice little getaway in the woods with easy access to the town. If you’re looking for a place for some great R&R, this is your spot!"

"We stayed here for our anniversary and had a great time. Hosts were very responsive when we had a question about the hot tub, "

"Very nice spot with interesting layout. The hot water heater requires an aluminum anode rod, as your mineral mix in the well is most likely high in manganese. The sulfuric stench is such that we didn’t want to use the hot water at all. I read other reviews along the same lines, so it has been brought to the owners attention, yet not remedied. Therefore, we wouldn’t stay again unless it was guaranteed that it has been fixed. "
