Spacious home with stunning views of the Keweenaw Waterway! Located at the end of a quiet road yet close to so many major attractions! Michigan Technological University, Historic downtown Houghton & Hancock, Ripley Ski Hill, Michigan Tech ski and hiking trails, Quincy Mine, Snowmobile Trails, different beaches and much more! Copper Harbor and Mount Bohemia are only 45 minutes from us! Brew a cup of coffee or tea and hangout on the beautiful deck overlooking the bridge with unobstructed views through the glass railing. 😊 Relax and unwind by being screen-free here. All bedding, including comforters, are washed between stays.

We loved this home! It’s very nice with an exceptional view! We spent a lot of time out on the deck enjoying the view! We cooked, color toured, and played games. We had plenty of room for everyone! The host was super! Thank you for a great weekend!

This home is lovely and in the perfect spot for a visit to MTU or a Keewenaw adventure! Our family group of 7 enjoyed everything about this home... the beds were the most comfortable we've ever had, the view is spectacular, the home is well appointed and very comfortable! Would recommend to anyone, and will definitely book again!

Beautiful spot
I grew up in this town… one of my HighSchool friends grew up in the house next door, and I loved going to her house and looking out over Houghton/Hancock. This place was a great stay. Loved the view, a great launching point for keweenaw exploration with the family. We all really loved the house, and plan to stay again in the future.

Had the pleasure of saying several days/nights and found it was difficult to motivate my wife and kids to leave the deck and incredibly view! Spacious, clean, quiet, and comfortable. Would highly recommend!

Beautiful view
Close to Michigan Tech's campus and the multitude of Keweenaw Peninsula's trails, water falls, and views made this location perfect for our adult family of five. Great space for community on the deck or in the open floor plan living space, we also had our own room to relax in. Clean space with everything we needed (sans TV), and just a breathtaking view of the canal and Houghton.

Happy in Hancock
Unbelievable view of Portage Lake Bridge from a spacious deck and home. Plenty of room to spread out, cook and be mesmerized by the beauty of the Keewenaw. Great anchoring spot to go out to explore. Many beaches and parks close by. The winding, maze of hilly roads keeps your brain sharp. Would go back!

The property was dynamite. Clean, convenient, quiet and a spectacular view of Houghton, the lift bridge and the canal. Could easily sleep a dozen or more. Great workout / sauna area and the deck would be perfect in summer. Only missing a TV and a pool table, but still outstanding.
