"What an amazing place! The rooms and inn are charming, clean, and comfortable. The property is beautiful. The restaurant is outstanding with delicious food. But what stood out the most was the staff for both the restaurant and the inn. We checked in at about 7pm and the woman who helped us was personable, funny, warm and welcoming. We really felt like our needs were a priority. Our server was amazing and knowledgeable and the service itself was impeccable. We will be making this trip a yearly tradition. Thank you to everyone at The Blue Bear for an incredible experience!"

"We came to this area to do a hike at the local mountain. The hotel was conveniently located to where we wanted to be. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. And the quaint little downtown area was within walking distance. Only downside is that due to this being a small town, everything closes very early in the evening."

"We had been camping in Maine for six days and were on our way home. We easily parked in the parking lot with a small pull behind camper and truck. The hotel was clean and welcoming. Bathroom and shower were excellent and bed and room were comfortable and clean. The breakfast buffet in the morning was nice. A little better than what you would expect for a “breakfast included“ hotel. The pool looked lovely. I wish I had a suit. Even though it was a little bit more expensive it was well worth it for us. "
