Stay in Hana #1

Beautiful studio with 1 queen bed, private bathroom with river rock shower, 2 covered decks, and parking right in front of your door. You'll be surrounded by the sights of trees and sounds of ocean and birds. The property is 2 acres of lush Hana rainforest in a perfect location.

The space

Hana Organic Farm is a fruit farm conveniently located within a mile of Hana Bay, Waikaloa Beach, Fagan's Cross, Hotel Hana Restaurant, Spa and Bar and Hana Cultural Center and Museum. Also within a mile are many delicious food trucks along with Hana Ranch Restaurant and Bar, Hasegawa Store and Hana Ranch Store. We are 5-10 minute drive to Waianapana State Park (Black Sand Beach), Hamoa Beach, Hana Lava Tube, Kahanu Gardens/Pi'ilani Hale, and many other amazing Hana landmarks.

Please arrive before dark.

WIFI

The wifi in the property is through satellite internet.

Currently it is the only available internet provider in this specific location.

Wifi speed may slow or it may not work in inclement weather.

LOCATION

It’s in jungle like settings so BUGS, ANTS, MOSQUITOS or Flying insects and critters are to be expected.

We don’t want you to get eaten alive by mosquitoes so we highly recommend you to always close the doors and make sure to bring bugs spray.

GECKOS/LIZARDS are also expected they like to eat the bugs and sometimes you might hear them at night. So if you're not ready to experience them, then this place is not for you.

HANA HIGHWAY

The hana highway is a very tricky road to drive, if you’re an inexperienced driver you might find it intimidating. Make sure you do more research about it before visiting Hana.

Always pull over to the locals, drive with caution and don’t over speed.

STORES

Hana Ranch Store & Hasegawa Store - they are a mile from our place, both store have plenty options of groceries and beverages.

FARMER’S MARKET DAY

If you like to try local vegetable, fruits, bread, juices etc you are welcome to check out the Farmer’s Market every Friday from 3pm-5pm.

Nice stop in Hana
This was a nice one night stay for us in Hana. While not on the ocean, you could hear it at night. Very clean.

Modest cabin in the jungle
Very clean and peaceful at night. However, no air conditioner did make the room muggy. It was nice to hear the birds and have privacy, but no a/c in July made it a bit too rustic for us.

Nice place to stay :)
Location was great, tucked in the jungle type feeling and place was clean. Sheer curtains did not bother us since unit #1 is away from steps up to second floor. Nice to have some tea and coffee available as well as bug spray, much needed. Would have been nice to have a choice of different pillows since the only ones there were really thick. Overall place is recommended and would return on next trip out to Hana!

Awesome getaway in the rainforest
Beautiful condo in the jungle. Private peaceful close to town but not too close. The listing says laundry but that is not available. This is newly constructed and it’s probably not more than five years old. Everything is in really beautiful condition and really well-built. Haven’t been to Hana since the 80s and it is so beautiful there, all the different beaches, great food very lush, jungle vibe

Overnight stay in Hana
They stay was nice the room was clean and nice. The hardest part is that there was no internet service no satellite. So we had a hard time finding where to go or a place where we could contact the owners. We stopped at a local store. They told us that we could go to some local ball fields to get internet.

Cosy little place, nestled amongst greenery
Just as described, cosy little room, with a decent sized bathroom & space for a small refrigerator & microwave. A nice lanai on one side (we did not use it) & a front patio where you can sit out as well. Very private & nestled amongst greenery. We just stayed the night, so did not get to enjoy the location fully as much as we would have otherwise.

Relaxing stay
Lovely tropical setting, beautiful shower, easy access to car but would have loved some extras like paper towels and kleenex. Did not like cleaning dishes in bathroom sink. Freezer needed defrosting, not usable. Overall, a nice place in Hana.

Check in was very quick and easy. The place was ready even though we came a tiny bit early. Very clean and comfortable place. Loved the new bathroom. The outlook is very beautiful! Couldn’t find any information about wifi but once we figured it out wifi was a little slow but still enough to stream a tv show from Netflix. I am a tea drinker so a kettle would have made the place perfect!

Great respite
After a hectic 8 days of travel, this place offered a respite. We got in about 4:00 pm and lingered a bit in the morning. We enjoyed food truck dinners on the porch and coffee on the lanai. The WiFi access was more than adequate, and we relaxed to the jungle and ocean “music.” The place was easy to find and access. We would definitely stay again. Thanks, Marcus!

The stay was good for a night to recharge after driving the Road to Hana. The room was clean and had a nice shower. There was also no TV in the room or board games, so you might want to consider bringing some form of entertainment for yourself if you plan to stay a while. Overall, not a bad place to stay.
