Good but not what we expected
The property is cute with an old world charm. The neighborhood is quiet but you do hear traffic as expected for any downtown stay. There are a lot of good eateries that are nearby and that deliver for those days you are too exhausted to go back out after swimming all day. It was easy access to local beaches which we hoped for.
Issues we had included:
Wrong directions were given for accessing the house. It said to punch the code and turn the knob to enter. After many attempts we learned you punch the code and push.
The description said there were 2 bathrooms both with tub and shower symbols. In actuality there is one full bath with a shower only (a very nice shower with amazing pressure) and then a half bath downstairs.
The description said there were 2 king beds, 1 queen bed, and a full in the living room. In actuality one room was a queen, one room with maybe a full, a third room bunk bed (two singles), and a pull out couch.
Towels are provided, but not many for the number of people this can sleep. We had to use a wash cloth for the downstairs bathroom to dry our hands on. It does have a nice dining room and tvs everywhere. The tv in what we assume was the primary bedroom kept turning on by itself; we ended up just unplugging it to sleep.
All in all for the price this was a decent place to stay, but we wouldn’t have chosen it if accurate descriptions had been given. I’d recommend it if you want a no frills beach trip on the cheap with no tub.
