PLEASE NOTE
Heads up! Since we’re in a rural town, the internet may occasionally go out, but outages are rare and usually last less than an hour.
Water & Septic Info
The home runs on a cistern water system—the water is , filtered, clean and drinkable, but it’s stored in a holding tank.
It is monitored to ensure it doesn’t run out, but we do ask guests to be mindful of usage.
For waste, we have a septic tank. So please, toilet paper only down the toilet—no wipes or extras.
Being in the countryside means you’ll be close to farm fields and forests—so expect nature! In spring, harmless gnats can swarm if lights are on and doors/windows are open, so keep them shut. Mosquitoes, flies, and other bugs are common in warmer months, so bring repellent. Our cleaners do their best, but a few critters may still sneak in—it’s all part of country living!
Do not trespass on our neighbours property, our yard is large enough to enjoy. You can see the property line as our grass is cut. The pond behind our house is on private property and not available to use (It's not safe to swim in anyways!).
As of April 2025: The flooring near the primary bedroom has some visible cracks. It’s glued down, mostly covered by a rug, but please be mindful when walking barefoot.
