"This was an unscheduled stop on route to Cornwall due to bad weather. What a pleasant surprise, a beautiful old Inn a short distance from the A30. They very kindly went above and beyond to get the room ready a bit earlier for us so we could attend a wedding in the church opposite. Speaking of - what a glorious view from our room! "We had a small misunderstanding about the composition of our group meaning we didn't have the right combination of beds made up - but the owners responded quickly and helpfully, as they did to all questions. The large kitchen dining area was a fabulous feature, so was the lounge. The garden was also fabulous although the weather wasn't kind to us so we couldn't use it as much as we hoped. Also, be aware the garden isn't really dog-proof since the front gate is just a standard 5-bar wooden gate...
