Unfortunately we only had a few pleasant hours at the Hemley cottage before the smoke blew ferociously all around us. We had a message on one person’s phone to evacuate so we zipped off to friends in Stawell . Very fortunate . We didn’t really have much information about the progress of the fire . If the one person had not got the evacuate messsage I don’t know what would have happened. However we got a very prompt refund, thank you. Maybe we’ll stay again when it’s winter time.

Beautiful cottage in a perfect location
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hemley Cottage. The location was walking distance to the town of Halls gap. The cottage was beautiful and had everything we needed. The hosts communicated very promptly. Highly recommend

Great little cottage and excellent position in Halls Gap with nil traffic heard. Thanks we enjoyed our little weekend away in this quaint little cottage.
