"Very quiet and very English.. lovely place "

"Small car park big enough for 2 cars there's a back road you can park on. But there was a confusion on the room booked but got there in the end. Room up a flight of stairs All information is given when in the room. Room of good size has a sloping roof as an attic room. Bathroom is a good size The bed was comfy enough, the only thing was the duvet wasn't long enough so my feet stuck out. I'm only 5'11! Shower was very hot, took some twisting to get any cold though. "We had an amazing stay. It had everything we needed for a night. There were board games and plenty of books to keep you entertained. The bathroom was very tidy and clean. The bed was super comfortable. The details of the property added extra comfort too. We were visiting Stamford so it was an easy 15min drive through countryside. The owner was super friendly, very communicative and attentive. Thank you again! "

"Can't review hotel as never actually stayed there as they relocated us to another hotel saying it would meet our booking which was family room for 2 and breakfast, what we got was a single room with double bed and no breakfast, so spent weekend sleeping with my 40year old daughter with no breakfast not what was planned. They did refund £20 which was used for taxis because it was so far from where we needed to be."

"It had everything we needed. Bed was comfy. Bedding and towels were clean. There was a shelf unit that was about to collapse and the blinds were knackered and discoloured. The shower was very warm and powerful. Instructions and how to enter the building was emailed to me. But I didn't realise and was expecting a message via WhatsApp or text etc. Tried to call the number on the door and also the other number I had, but couldn't get a reply. Then I found the email, with all the information...

"No free Wi-fi code left anywhere and attendants mobile never responded, horrible almost on floor bed with urine stained manky old worn unprotected mattress, bedroom window blind broken so exposed to neighbours and tatty external areas, no bathroom mirror (previously broken and not replaced), paid £6 extra for breakfast, expecting cooked, but it was a help yourself basic toast/cereal. While overall clean(except the horror under the bed sheets, the overall kerb appeal was totally neglected and...
