My wife and I are photographers, and while we have many friends in the HRM, often times coming back after a 10-12 hour day leaves very little energy in the social battery. Coming back to this space was exactly what we needed this trip.
Sure, there's a full flight of stairs and a few smaller steps to get up to and then down into the apartment, it's narrow and long with a big bright window at the end. The bathroom has a sliding barn down for space saving efforts. There's a small couch, no desk or dining space, and a very comfortable bed with a TV hanging at the end of it. It's an older building so lots of noises here and there, and street noise outside the window (busy intersection) were easily drowned out by white noise played on our phones. If noise bothers you, help yourself in advance with earplugs or white noise machine.
All things considered, it's priced well, Justin is pleasant and quick to communicate. I give this place 5* and have full intentions to rent it again when faced with another busy weekend in Halifax.
