"It was a little challenging to find the place to check in for the cottage since it's not right next to the cottage itself. The cottage was quiet and had a full kitchen to make your own food or access to the restauant where we checked in."

"This was a cool place. Simple, cool clean lines. The units have a black exterior to match the general Icelandic vibe / volcanic roots and culture. The kitchenette with a fridge and little hot plate type set up seems like it would be useful. If you go to Höfn for dinner, Otto Matur and Drykkur was amazing, cute, quaint. The big picture window allowed for a beautiful view of the mountains and glacier, would have been nice had the northern lights been visible too. It’s about 30 minutes to Hofn which has a good number of restaurants or 30 minutes the other direction for diamond beach. Definitely would consider staying here again. "

"We loved it. Party of 7. Each cabin sleeps 8 but we had ti rent 2 cabins because they fine you TONS extra in fees for every person in your party over 4. So, it doesn’t make sense. But that was our only complaint. Loved the place. (Needed paper towels and a cookie sheet, but those are small things,)"
