"We booked it because it was so close to the airport. Clean, comfortable beds, nice breakfast. The bathroom had plenty of hot water and a nice shower. There were enough towels. "

"IMMACULATELY CLEAN unique property with lovely touches. Fantastic breakfast options. Nice pool area. Comfy beds and quality bedding. Sizeable room with balcony. Loverly hosts who provided us with a snack for the airport due to our early departure. Couldn’t recommend this property more highly for convenience (only about 7 minute leisurely walk to Mdina) comfort and friendliness. "

"A lovely old refurbished house on a quiet street just off the water front of Sliema. Breakfast good, very nice staff. Some guests had problems with the room key cards. Sadly there is no social space and only one hard chair in the room. However the rooms were good and i enjoyed my stay."

"The Lemontree Relais is a pleasant little hotel. Its facilities are basic, although has a nice pool to sun yourself. I have no criticism of it, although it is a taxi ride away from anything you want to do."

"This property was exactly what my son and I were looking for - small hotel to use as a base. Hotel was spotless. Friendly staff, always saying hello. Have to give a huge shout out to Mohammed, always on the desk, was absolutely wonderful from the first meeting. If you needed something you just ask and he will do his best to help. Also a wee mention to the shop down the stairs, very friendly staff"

"Characterful, in quiet part of Malta, mostly avoiding the tourist hordes. Owners are very friendly and welcoming with travel tips and advice. "There's a bus stop right in front of the hotel, which makes it very convenient. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and I loved the room. It had a nice floor plan, was clean, well maintained and modern. There's plenty of lighting including a good reading light on each side of the bed. I enjoyed the espresso machine, but wish there was creamer available. It would also be nice if there was a place in the bathroom or by the mirror to plug in he hair dryer or a curling iron. "Excellent place to stay! Friendly people, beautiful accommodations! Perfectly located and has a rooftop pool to boot! The only criticism would be the mattresses… they were too firm for our liking and it made it hard to sleep, but we like soft beds so anyone else may not have an issue at all. We are already planning our next trip to Malta and plan to book here again"

"The hotel is huge, despite it looking older than its rivals, the internal decoration was good and was very clean. The rooms were large and we had a seaview. I can find little fault with our stay here. We visited in February and despite some building work going on (which was well advertised) there is plenty to see and do. The evening entertainment was very good. The food choices were fantastic (something for everyone) with of course unlimited drinks in the food restaurants and bars if you are doing AI. The roof top pool has spectacular views and is definitely worth a visit, even if you don't want to dip your toes in the cooler water found in Feb. The indoor pool in the sub-basement is really catered for the spa customers even though it is open to everyone. Based on the 'open to everyone' the changing areas need to be much larger in regards to actual undressing etc and the Sauna and Steam room do need to be larger, but i can appreciate that in peak season these areas would be rarely used. We have stayed in a lot of hotels and what i would say, is those people that moan about this and that, are talking rubbish. Where else can you get a room, all inclusive food and drink for approx £60 a night !! I would not hesitate to book this hotel again. The staff work extremely hard to try and make everyones visit the best that they can."
