As you approach Villa Tropicana, the blue skies and bright Florida sunshine compliment the many palm, lemon and orange trees that surround the home’s exterior. When you enter the villa, a tropical-colored interior soothingly paints the home with a refreshing glow. There are 3 bedrooms (one of them a king suite with a romantic canopy bed), 2 bathrooms and a fully equipped kitchen. It is the perfect place to vacation comfortably and luxuriously.

I was in town for a quick trip. Check in process was easy, Beds are comfortable. Great neighborhood on the golf course. House was clean, everything worked, kitchen was adequately supplied with cooking utensils. I would stay here again.

Grandkids getaway
Beautiful quite neighborhood in relatively close proximity to the parks and an easy drive to the coastal beaches. Only suggestion is it should be communicated up front that soap and TP are minimal and it might be a good idea to get these before check in.

Great place. Clean. Pool is great. Treasure hunt was a awesome bonus. Beds leave something to he desired. When we got there the toilet paper was half used with no replacments but over all super satisfied

Quite peaceful paradise
Home is beautifully decorated. Pool is refreshing and clean. My whole family enjoyed our stay. We will be booking to stay again this year. We stay in this neighborhood fairly regularly and this was one of the nicer and cleaner homes.

Great Spring get a way
Weather was perfect. Location and view were even better than expected. While there are trees on the lot. There is plenty of sun on the pool area. The retractable awning was a nice addition and supplied relief when we wanted shade. Great golf course, near perfect condition. The club house is very nice. Food prices are very reasonable. Looking forward to possibly vacating again at this site

Great Location
No surprises. Pictures accurately portrayed the property. Nice development on the golf course. Nice area to go for walks. Property management responded quickly to need for change in batteries for smoke detector. Would stay here again.

This place was paradise. We had a great time. The place is clean and qas just like the photos. I would recommend and stay here again.The only bad review i have about this place is the parking. The road is very small and there was a huge white truck out front of our property the whole time. There were no places to park more than 1 vehicle and company had a hard time finding a place to park.

Cute home but i wish there were some items that is hard to fly with. Ie hand soaps, salt, more TP (we only had 2 rolls). We def would stay here again.

Worked great for a short stay.
The villa and pool were clean and comfortable. Beds were comfy and the location worked well for us attending a friend's wedding; felt safe in the gated neighborhood. The kitchen could been better equipped -- could have used another fry pan, a grater, and more flatware and wine glasses. It would have been nice to have dishwashing liquid and a sponge provided as well to help with cleaning up. A few more D/W pods would have been nice too for a short stay -- didn't want to have to buy a large container for a 4 day stay but 1 was not enough. Overall, nice place and enjoyed our stay.

Not what the pictures show
The place is very small. We got there to find that it had a strange odor. Upon inspecting the place it was not very clean or updated. We went out to check out the pool area and the cement was cracked, there was a bunch of stuff hanging from the roof of the pool area, there were snakes swimming in the pool also the pool was much smaller than expected. When we called to have the snakes removed they acted like it was OK and said it's Florida. We asked for a refund and left within the hour after travelling all the way from Ohio.

Unfortunat events with no refund or rescheduled dates.
The night before our family trip the stomach bug went through my house, I was hopeful until my daughter started getting sick at the airport. Literally vomiting in the garbage can😫 then our flight was delayed several times, and I had to be in Tampa by 9PM with all our efforts we didn't make it. I reached out to the owners hopeful that I can change dates or at least get back half of my money back, they weren't willing. Make sure you check the fine print and know who you're renting from.

Clean but needs work
Very clean.Perfect location for sun,walk to stores and trips out.However the villa could benefit from a few extras ie.a drying rack for dripping bathers,mirrors in the bedrooms and more storage space as most of the drawers were full of owners belongings.All furniture very old,beds in two rooms were so noisy and extremly uncomfortable and please,please renew the sofas.They are just covered wood,no stuffing and terrible to sit on.Would use the villa again but it needs some updating.Oh tree on the driveway needs trimming as difficult to open car door.Pool was very green and not cleaned until our second week where the cleaner left the filter debris on the side for us to dispose of.

The 5th time renting at Southern Dunes but this house couldn't compare to the others. Fantastic locations however the Beds and furniture not at all comfortable. Had to hunt for towels and wash clothes - which also should be replaced.

We had a great time and stay at our vacation house. The house was clean and pretty, spaceous and had a nice pool. Haines City is a nice place to stay with lots of eating and grocery shops in the neighbourhood. And close to all the attraction parks.

Spacious home with great location!
This is one of the best homes I've had the pleasure of staying in. It is very spacious, well kept and a beautiful and convenient location. There is an entrance gate that is always station with a guard which added an extra sense of security for my family. The host even created a fun little treasure hunt that my children enjoyed! I would highly recommend this location to anyone looking for a family vacation.
