"I needed an inexpensive room for a couple of nights while in town on business. This place was exactly that. The good: Heat works well, plenty of parking, front desk staff was very friendly and welcoming, bed was comfortable, room was clean, it was quiet, I felt safe at night. The bad: it's an old property and the rooms could use updating, fresh paint, new carpeting, etc. All in all, the Rodeway Inn was exactly what I was looking for and I would stay again. "

"If you look on maps, it says this property is permanently closed. However, this property is the most open and functional property I have seen in the Groton area. The room I stayed in was recently re-done. The bathtub still had a sticker on it. It’s so clean. is a nice little family that owns the property and we love to support local businesses. "The property is no Ritz, but it's a very good value for the money ($134/nt). The room was clean & comfortable with a big picture window looking out on a little pond and trees sporting colorful fall foliage. There was a load of parking and there's a fun restaurant Cuckoo's Nest Mexican a short walk from the lot. Shopping areas are just five minutes away in either direction. The ocean is a quick five minute drive away as well. "
