"What a beautiful unique place hidden in the North Yorkshire countryside. Run by a lovely lady called Ginny who was so welcoming. She explained everything about the room, facilities and local walks. Loved the honesty shop. Had a great number of things to choose from, from hiking essentials (for sore feet!), to fresh eggs and pies. The room was perfect and very unique. "We stayed for two weeks at The Bothy. We used it as a base to explore the Dales. We enjoyed seeing the local sights and villages. There are numerous sites to visit within one hour’s drive. "We were disappointed when we arrived because the house hadn’t been heated. It was 14 degrees and we had to spend the evening in the kitchen with our coats on to keep warm.
