"Property is a nice place. The service was very slow and bad. Checked in and was told there is a power failure, power will be up in 20mins and after an hour, power is not up yet. Checked in the room for stay with my sister, was only given one bath towel in the room. There is no amenity (shower gel n shampoo) TOP up on day 2. When we went to the pool and the beach, ask for pool/beach towel and was told they have run out of beach towel, ask for bathe towel instead and never arrive. Wifi was very...

"We enjoyed staying two nights at Sun N Sea in early April. We enjoyed both the view of the beach/ ocean as well as the food. We were able to walk along the beach and into town easily. The manger helped us find a store which sells a computer charger. We had accidentally left ours at home. The beds were very comfortable and we all enjoyed surfing lessons."

Room was run down..biggest issue was that neither of the two showers drained properly. In fact, sewage came up and created an offensive odor. "A hotel with a nice view. Run a little like a homestay with a friendly host with 3 dogs. Main issue, and I'm surprised no one has mentioned it, is that there is a steep climb up the driveway. Taxis will not get up it ! The hotel provides a tuk-tuk shuttle to get bags etc as well as a courtesy lift whenever you press the bell (up to 9pm). Not a place to stay if you have bad knees. I did think the hotel was pricey for what we got. Pool is simple but we loved it . Food was lovely too. However....

"The checkin and checkout was one of the weirdest so far. There was noone around who spoke English when we arrived. I booked a standard room which turned out to be a small box without windows. I decided to upgrade to a seaview room and was presented with a room rate by a housekeeping boy that was way higher than the rate shown online. Then we started haggling which ended up to be a back and forth with the manager via phone. I finally managed to lock in the proper rate for the upgrade. When the...

"The location is awesome. The rooms are well designed and at a high quality standard (e.g. marble tiles in the bathroom. Bidet..) Bungalow with sea view - unbeatable. The location is not directly at the beach, but at an elevated location inside a forest area. So the view is incredible and super quiet. No street noise or smoke. Instead one can enjoy nature sound, birds, butterflies, some monekys climbing the trees and sometimes leguans and view at the sea the same time.The staff is very friendly....

"Amazing stay at The Frangipani Tree, the hotel was lovely with around 9 rooms so it felt very private, and dining each morning and evening with an ocean view was magical. The real stand out was the staff and the food, everyone went abov4e and beyond to make us comfortable and the Chef made meals specifically to our requests - nothing was too much trouble. "This hotel is one of a kind, the staff is incredible, the views out of this world! The room was honestly my favourite of any place I’ve stayed in all my travels. Clearly next level design and architecture in a very subtle and tasteful way. The spa treatment was wonderful and the cooking class under the banyan tree was magical. I wish I had stayed longer and definitely will next time I am back. I can’t express how fantastic this hotel is thank you for making us feel like home ❤️"
