I stayed here for over a week and would highly recommend. Great location and value for money, and the staff are lovely and accommodating. Note if staying in the accessible room on the ground floor there is a curtain rather than a door for the bathroom.

Perfect!
Clean, Comfortable & very Convenient! Ingrid was the perfect hostess, very helpful, and the Guesthouse is close to excellent restaurants and shops! The ferry, about 10 minutes walk away takes you across the harbour to Valletta, the old town with its cobbled streets and wonderful places to visit! Also, on the bus route! Recommended! 😉👍

Island Guesthouse is perfect for your accomodation right in the center of Il Gzira, and very near the harbour-boulevard (The Strand) The service is excellent and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was large, had air-condition, micro-oven, electric kettle and an unlimited supply of coffee and tea. Housekeeping every day. All in all a very pleasant stay and very, very good value for money. I would definitely recommend Island Guesthouse any day.

Great location for dining out and bus routes and easy access to Valetta. We arrived late and received excellent email instructions about access in the room after the foyer was locked. However some details could have been better, like the opening windows in the room didn't fit the frames well and rattled in the wind at night (temporary fix was easy but should not have been necessary). Overall good value though. Beware that most of this part of Malta is currently a buiding site.

DESCONTENTO
Iniciamos la llegada 11-10, con nuestro descontento, ya que nuestros alojamientos los habían reservado a otras personas por el error.16.00 h. Nos buscaron unos nuevos alojamientos alternativos, pero el check in en estos nuevos alojamientos inicialmente no era posible ya que, el encargado de la limpieza no tenía conocimiento de que iba a alojarse ninguna persona allí, por tanto los alojamientos no estaban listos para ser usados , necesitaba 3 h para la limpieza de cada alojamiento, terminaría a las 23 h. Al mismo tiempo que, el chico de la limpieza nos comunicó que uno de los dos apartamentos tenía reserva para el sábado 12 de octubre, por lo que no iba a ser posible que nos quedaramos alojados en los dos apartamentos las dos noches. Ante esta situación, tras comprobar que cada nuevo alojamiento tenía 2 dormitorios, finalmente nos vimos obligados a alojarnos las 4 personas en un único alojamiento, antes que no tener un lugar dónde dormir.,(un alojamiento estaba listo a las 20.00 h.) Aunque este nuevo alojamiento sí tenía espacio para 4 personas en dos habiciones separadas, no era lo que nosotros habíamos contratado, ya que cada pareja quería tener su zona independiente. En el caso de que hubieramos querido reservar un único alojamiento para 4 personas, hubiesemos tenido otras opciones más económicas con los mismos servicios y calidad. Es por ello que creemos que hemos sido perjudicados en el servicio prestado ya que hemos perdido toda una tarde de solo dos días que estuvimos

Świetna lokalizacja, 2 minuty od przystanków autobusowych komunikujących cala wyspę, pełno restauracji, sklepów , barow, wsxystko ns miejscu, w budynku na dachu duzy ogolnodostepny taras z widokiem na morze i stolikami, kazdy pokoj duzy z balkonem, właścicielka przemiła i bardzo pomocna dostępna właściwie odrazu, nawet rozumie po polsku, czystość w pokojach wzorowa, kawa herbata i zestaw do kąpieli w pokoju, nawet kołdra jest dla ciepłolubnych i klima, polecam na 100%, samodzielne zameldowanie, i duzy plus za zostawienie bagaży przed czasem zameldowania- super pomoc, pozdrawiamy Panią :)
