4/5 Good
"Arrival at the property was disappointing. It took a while to get hold of the lodge manager , as no one was at the gate to open. Dispute notices about dangerous animals, I was still expected to get out of the car and open the gate, same at check out too. This was is irresponsible as if puts guests in danger!
Property requires updating, no phone in the lodge, so guests have no way of contacting reception/ manager.
Staff were accommodating, attentive and helpful. Had fish and chips for dinner, it was devine! My stay was elevated by waking up to the sound of a. roaring lion as a wake-up alarm clock.
With improvements to their reception af The lodge entrance and some lodge imp were movements, I would stay there again."
