"Truly heavenly. The location, the villa and the staff made our stay just perfect. The beach is pristine and set in a beautiful cove. It’s so peaceful with the perfect combination of sea, beach and mangroves. Really beautiful. We stayed in the Kurumba House and honestly I cannot compliment the staff enough. A particular call out to Donald who looked after us and made sure we wanted for nothing. Our privacy was respected and Donald shared his WhatsApp number so we could message when we wanted something. He made sure the villa was always perfect for us and when we wanted time on the beach that we were also looked after. All of the staff have a wonderful nature and were so welcoming. The main villa is beautiful and from what we could see all of the rooms were really lovely. They work on small number of rooms with lots of different living spaces so it feels boutique. Kurumba house was stunning. We loved the outdoor veranda and the private pool, which was a sublime temperature. Whilst we were at the beach for sunset, the house lights were put on and lots of candles made it a lovely welcome back. Meal times are always flexible around your time table so didn’t feel rushed to a schedule and we ate at the House with Donald looking after us and making sure whilst we ate, our bedroom got the turn down service. We were really sorry to leave. Thanks to all of the team. It was wonderful"

"Friendly staff and facilities at the hotel are good. Nearest beach is a rocky beach. Last few KM of the road leading to the hotel is very poor. This section needs to upgrade and possibly out of hotel managements' control. They may need to coordinate with the neighboring hotels and the local authority. However, signs leading to the hotel from the main road is not very clear. Google maps lead to a circuitous route. Need to upgrade the signs leading to the hotel in every junction and this is under hotel management. "

"Amazing stay, even extended twice. The service is second to none, everything is no problem. From the amazing view of the sea to all the varied wildlife in the grounds, posse of monkeys visit every day drinking from the pool and generally being monkeys to peacocks, a mongoose, frogs, all the birds. Nick the owner is a friendly chap and clearly set the ethos of this place and is always around to help if needed. Kalpa and Umesh (managers) are great, absolute credit to the place. Can’t say a bad word, if we are back to Sri Lanka then a visit here will be on the cards again. We had 2 rooms, both great, outdoor showers, very clean, air con, amazing views over the lagoon, comfy beds. Best place we stayed in Sri Lanka, only left as we had plans. The beach is 2 min walk away past all the hermit crabs, we saw baby turtles going into the sea one evening just before they close the beach due to conservation. We then went another night with the turtle conservation next door and witnessed a turtle laying eggs. This place has it all."

"I've been in Sri Lanka for a few months, so I can honestly say this getaway was a treat. Great location with Dickwella beach on one side and turtle point in the other. It was so exciting to swim with a gigantic sea turtle. Not crowded, lots of nice beach area. The hotel pool was lovely and clean, though it didn't feel chlorinated at all. Loved that they served drinking water in glass bottles which was a great touch. Staff were lovely. Roads around are chaotic, typical to Ski Lanka and a bit stressful to walk in some areas. Breakfast was a huge buffet and though I wasn't going to, I ate at the hotel both nights (so as not to walk around in the dark on my own) and was pleased. Staff were very helpful with my food allergy. I am hoping to stay here again! "
