"A lovely small boutique style hotel which I’d recommend to anyone visiting the city. It’s located down a small side street and so is really quiet, but it’s a fairly short and easy walk to many of the main sights. The entrance way is beautiful and the fantastic decor continues everywhere throughout, where clearly a lot of thought has gone into keeping it traditional and impressive. All the staff are really friendly and can’t do enough to help, making you feel really at home. There’s no elevators in the hotel but my room was on the ground floor overlooking the street to the front. Despite this it was perfectly quiet at night. It was one of their ‘single room’ offerings, and while not massive was perfectly adequate for a couple of nights. The bed was larger than a single but was incredibly hard, with a bedside table and electric socket at one side. TV was a decent size and there was an empty fridge and kettle on the storage unit, along with wardrobe and drawers giving ample storage space. An armchair gave an extra level of comfort to the room too. The bathroom had a decent shower with toiletries in branded dispensers on the wall, with good heat and power. There was a small shelf above the sink for storage and the towels were decent enough. The blue light wasn’t always the most practical, but the glass walls separating the bathroom area from the rest of the room meant it’s easy to get light from elsewhere, but also means you’d have to be comfortable with anyone you’re sharing t"

"Location is the high point of this hotel, ideally situated just 5 mins walk from Registan square. Shahi zinda 15 moms walk, bazar is nearby.Cafes and restaurants all within walking distance, good surrounding environment. Rooms are okay, comfortable."

"At first it was a bit hard to get there because the address to the property attached to the booking was wrong. I recommend them to fix it. That was the only problem. Breakfast as supper very good!"

"I stayed at Ko'k Saroy and would absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting Samarkand. The location is top notch. It’s right on the main street, and from there you can walk to Gur-e-Amir and Registan in just a few minutes. You really don’t need a car or taxi at all unless you’re heading far out of the center. There’s a great little coffee shop just around the corner that serves iced Americanos and lattes, which I was especially grateful for as a traveler used to that kind of thing. The street also has plenty of restaurants and places to sit and relax between sightseeing. The staff at the hotel were incredibly kind and helpful. They were happy to assist with anything, no matter what time I asked. It made the whole stay feel welcoming and easy. They speak multiple languages and as a Persian-speaker, the majority of Samarkand city is Tajik which is very convenient, and the staff who aren't Tajik understand Persian perfectly. The rooms are clean, new, and very comfortable, and the restaurant next to the hotel had some of the best food I had in town. Really glad I booked here."
