"We so appreciated our stay here! The location is so close to so much - our 7 yr old had no problem walking to the grocery store or to dinner. The place is clean and comfortable and the hosts were fabulous and so helpful with any questions! We'd absolutely stay here again!"

Having said that, we had to keep the window open for our entire stay due to the overwhelming and uncontrolled heat in the room. "Good budget option. It’s a lot of room for the money, with high ceilings and a sitting room besides the large bedroom. Keep in mind that it’s on the first floor, right beside the exit. Ski boots and slamming doors begin around 8am. You can hear loud rock and roll from the lobby until late, like 11 o’clock. This room, as well as the rooms surrounding it are short term rentals, which allow dogs. Every room had dogs and there was a bit of barking. The management company is difficult to contact and...

"Our family had a great time staying at the black bear hideout. The space was clean, cozy, and inviting. We had 3 teenagers and there was room for all. The hot tub, stocked kitchen, laundry, covered parking, and fireplace were lovely to have. And the proximity to the slopes was superb. A short walk up the sidewalk, around the corner and we were there. We had a great time and would stay here again."

"The property itself was superb! Very spacious and comfy. Bed was very comfortable. The only complaint is that the town needs to address the parking situation for overnight stayers. There is no overnight parking in public parking lots. And during the day, parking on streets is 2 hours max. Luckily, the host was able to find us private parking for the duration of our stay. We would stay there again in a heartbeat, as long as we have guaranteed overnight parking and where we don’t have to keep...

"Our family all gathered together for my mom’sbirthday celebration/reunion. The house provided us places to gather but gave everyone their own space when needed. The house is amazing and really has everything you need and so much more. It snowed heavily before we got there and it was magical, but the driveway was always plowed. Amazing stay in Crested Butte."
