"Located on Drottninggatan wich is the main restaurant/shopping street on Östermalm. Their part of Stockholm is very safe and you are on walkable distant to everything. A quick tram ride to the Wasa, Nordiska, ABBA and Viking museum. The hotel is located in an old building with a small, old, elevator, that doesn't fit a while lot. Most Swedish people take the stairs, so no issue there. Nice breakfast room, access to sauna, conference rooms and room to iron your clothes. Luggage storage as well....

"Expensive for what it was, strange area in distant location from the train station. Nice people working the front desk, but compared to other hostels it seems strange to make someone pay for their sheets and towels. "

"It was OK stay, but it was really strange to have a kitchen in the cottage but no water. I understand that it's a camping and bathrooms are outside and shared, but at least having water in the kitchen would be a nice (or rather obvious) touch. Also, i got information about check in only via sms, would be nice to keep conversation in the email too to have all in one place. "

"The hotel was in a good location. The rooms were clean and of a good size (family room). The sofa bed was acceptable for a child but Iess so for an adult, as expected. The breakfast was very good, plenty of options in the buffet and one of the staff even offered to make fresh pancakes for the kids, which was very well received. "5 Sterne für das Ferienhaus und den Vermieter! Das Haus ist luxuriös eingerichtet und man fühlt sich sofort wohl. Der Blick von der Terrasse ist traumhaft und das Saunagebäude bietet alles, was ein Saunagang benötigt - inkl. Blick auf den See. Der Vermieter ist SEHR nett, IMMER erreichbar und gibt Tipps für Ausflüge. In Summe ein perfekter Urlaub. Gern wieder - vielleicht mal im Winter?!"

Comfortable Swedish house in a prime location on Lake Rottnan with its own shoreline

Great for relaxing in quiet location

"The property is down a short track with two other properties. These are well spaced out and grounds cleverly divided with trees and bushes to form private areas. The grounds slope down to the lake which is a couple of minutes walk and has a small boat dock. If you hire a boat you have a key for the boat padlock, battery and tiller. There are lots of trees and the road is not at all busy so it is very quiet and relaxing. Grasmark a couple of miles north has a small supermarket and single petrol pump, Sunne is about 20 mins SE with a big supermarket, shop to buy alcohol and a great fishing shop. Down by the lake is a seating area, trampoline (which our kids loved) and play park items. The house has bbq, games, frisbees, badminton net & rackets, two bikes and a couple of fishing rods (all of this in mixed condition). As the property is off a long road we found you were either in the grounds or driving elsewhere to do things (brilliant beach at top end of lake). The house is really well equipped and the instructions for the house are clear, do read them early on! It is clean and well maintained but like all VRBO properties cumulative annual wear means some limited mould around showers, marks on walls and little bits of damage here and there. One key point is you need to bring your own sheets and towels, or arrange in advance for this service which I think costs €20 pp. We missed this but were saved by Christiane, thank you. "
