Summary:
Only a 5 minute WALK TO THE BEACH from this inviting refurbished cottage built in the early 1940's.

The cottage is comfortable, cozy & ideal for a family beach getaway. The large, peaceful, fenced yard is shaded by oaks & has a fire pit and swing set. It's a perfect spot to relax, make s'mores, & enjoying family quality time. Welcome to your new home away from home!

The Space:
We provide everything you need for a fun and safe beach vacation including a wagon, rolling cooler, 2 beach chairs, a pack-n-play, beach towels, and too many other amenities to list!

Please note: We are located directly across the street from the railroad tracks, so there will be noise when the train comes through. Regardless of where you stay within walking distance of the beach, you will hear the train. While our family's guests have never been bothered by the noise at night and our kids loved watching the trains as they roll by, they are loud. Please take this into consideration when booking anywhere on the MS Gulf Coast within walking distance of the beach.

• Our Master Bedroom has a queen-size bed, dresser, blackout shades, large closet, luggage rack.

• The Second Bedroom has a full-size bed as well as a twin-size bunk that the kids will love, large closet, luggage rack.

Love to cook?

Our kitchen is completely renovated and well-equipped.

• Outfitted with new appliances, gas stove, dishwasher, dishes, glassware, flatware, good knives, coffeemaker, toaster, electric kettle, microwave, pots, pans, etc.

We love our outdoor space.

• We have a large fenced yard with a swing set, fire pit, hammock, and dirt pit and toys for kids to play.

• Back deck and BBQ grill.

• Large space in the front yard that can be used as off-street parking for larger vehicles, boats, trailers, cruisers, etc... upon request.

• Bring a lock along and you can even use our little shed to store stuff.

Supplies:

We provide kitchen and bath supplies sufficient for short stays and to get you started for longer stays.

And we offer:

• Local antenna television or you can log into your own streaming services on our smart tv.

You'll have access to the entire property with the exception of the back shed and an owner's closet, both of which are locked.

• A five-minute walk to the beach, which is a favorite local kiteboarding spot.

• Minutes from Downtown Gulfport, Island View Casino, Jones beach (splash pad, farmer's market), Gulfport Harbor, and the newly opened Centennial Plaza.

• One block from a public tennis court and park

• Just off beautiful, tree-lined 2nd Street

• Located on the south side of the tracks
