Le Petit Chateau is an adorable tiny retreat for any person or couple who wants to get away or get to the beach! It sleeps one to two persons and has a queen bed, full bath, sitting area, and kitchenette with a microwave, toaster oven, portable electric cook tops, small sink, and mini fridge. The yard is private, quiet, and features native palms and plants.

Everything was just as we were told it would be. The cottage is small, but cozy and had everything we needed! We really enjoyed our time here and for a short stay, get away, it was great for us and would definitely consider staying here again.

Very small but charming. Train is close by and blows horn, no door on bathroom and 4 blocks from beach. Otherwise, allows pets, good for price and really adorable cottage.

It is a nice place to stay for 2 people the volume on the tv did not work and the ally that you park on is very muddy and not a good road to travel on a motorcycle it holds a lot of water.

A special slice of Heaven!
Wonderful experience! From booking to leaving! Cute little cottage just perfect for what we needed! Very clean and cozy! The queen size bed was very comfortable. The shower had excellent water pressure! The owner thought of everything! From toilet paper to dog poop bags! We didn’t need a thing. The outdoor space was perfect for our pups to exercise. We couldn’t be more pleased! Plenty of restaurants to choose from within minutes. We’ll be back!

Sweet Retreat
This place was perfect for a weekend getaway to the beach. It was close to the beach, close to town, and had anything and everything you could need provided. It was very clean, the yard was nicely mowed and partially fenced. The sitting area outside was nice and shady. The area was quiet except for the train coming through occasionally, but it wasn’t a bother. We stayed with our pooch and a bed sheet, towels, and poop bags were provided for him. We did watch him in the yard to make sure he stayed. We loved Le Petit Chateau!! If I had any negatives to say, it would be that you may not want to stay for an entire week since it is small. Also, we traveled with a pet and the beaches were not pet friendly in this location, but we knew that was the situation before we left. We just drove down to Waveland where he could go too. I would highly recommend Le Petit Chateau to any couple for a nice short getaway.

I am satisfied with the stay as I knew I was getting a home this small but I was also renting the larger home on the property and really using for an extra bed and bath. I personally could not imagine renting the cottage separately from the home. It was clean and comfortable. My husband and I both felt too big for the shower and had trouble keeping the water inside. Very good with the larger home if you need a 4th bedroom

Perfect for a quick, quiet getaway
My boyfriend and I wanted a quick getaway without spending a fortune, and this was perfect. I actually overpacked and overprepared because this cottage was fully stocked with everything we needed for a 4 day vacation. Ms. Betsy was very accommodating and helpful with my questions and concerns. We chose to drive to the beach rather than walk, and we only drove about a mile or so west down the boulevard each morning and found our spot. The beach around here was so peaceful because there aren't so many tourists in this area....we had the beach to ourselves as far as we could see each day, and it was relaxing and peaceful. We loved the privacy of not being in a hotel room and being disconnected, and this cottage was a perfect choice for us!
