Family Friendly, Ft Morgan Beach House

This is your beach house for 2025 and many years to come. A luxurious newer 6 bedroom home with multiple extensive beach views and private beach access. Guests enjoy direct beach access through a private deeded boardwalk. Yes, this is a second tier house. You have a very nice view of the beach from the deck.

Indoor and outdoor pools are associated with the house through the Beach Club resort next to the subdivision (5 minute walk). There is not a pool onsite. There is an optional Beach Club access fee, ranging from $38 to $50/day, prorated subject to # days accessed out of 7.

Each bedroom has direct access to full-width decks for viewing the quiet private white sands of Cabana Beach. Perfect retreat for family reunions, golfers and small retreats.

EXTRAS: Extra large capacity washer and dryer (linens, towels, and dishcloths provided); Central vacuum; Cable TVs (3); 2 DVD/MP3/VCR; 1 with VCR; Stereo with CD player; Ceramic tile throughout the house; Local telephone service (long distance requires calling card or collect); Two separate outside showers with hot and cold water; one enclosed with changing area; Concrete parking area beneath home; Deck furniture; Picnic table area is under home; Large barbeque grill (charcoal).

Two living areas are provided: The front contains the spacious kitchen, dining area, seating area, and stereo system opening onto the large front deck with views of the gulf. The back living area contains the TV/VCR/DVD center and wet bar with drink refrigerator and opens onto the full width covered screened-in back porch.

The home is fully handicap accessible to meet the need of young and old alike in any family or group. Substantially all ADA requirements are met with this home with an elevator, one accommodating bathroom, and spacious bedrooms.


UPGRADES: The elevator rises from the concrete parking area under the home directly into the house.

House was fully updated in 2012 with stainless steel appliances and tile throughout along with other items for your comfort.

Four bedrooms each contain a queen-sized beds and the two spacious master bedrooms each boast two queen-sized beds accommodating up to 16 people (we do not use hide-a-beds!). The four bathrooms each have plenty of vanity room for all those tanning lotions. Two 80-gallon water heaters ensure everyone has a good hot shower. The home contains over 2800 square feet of living space plus 1000 square feet of porches (lots of room for visiting or curling up to read your favorite book). The beach from this 2nd tier house is 250 feet from the front porch. Bon Secour National Wildlife Refuge is just a short walk down the beach.

Perfect floor plan. Perfect distance to beach. Loved everything about it. It is a little older than most I have stayed in but overall, I think I enjoyed this property more. There does need to be a little bit of deep cleaning done - nothing major - just a little “fresher”. The elevator was a life saver! I will be back! Hope it’s available!

Perfect friends and family beach house
This property was exactly as described. It was such a perfect set up with bedrooms, bathrooms, 2 living spaces, kitchen and beach access. We had 12 of us parents, kids, and grandparents. We could not have found a more perfect home to accommodate all of us so perfecrly. The owner was so great in allowing us to come in a day early as our hotel got messed up and the property was available. He was wonderful to work with.

Very spacious. A lot of room for everyone. Really enjoyed the large dinner table. The negative was: ice machine needs repairing. Drain is clogged and water backed up onto the floor; and toilet seat in handicapped bathroom needs to be changed.

Good place to stay with a large family
Although this house isn’t right on the beach it is a short walk on a private board walk to the beach. The house had plenty of room for 9 adults and 5 kids. It’s not a make or break deal but the house does not have any hand soap, dish soap, or extra trash bags. I kinda figured those basic items would be included. Overall not w bad place to stay at the beach.

Family Friendly
The home is very spacious and well stocked with linens. The kitchen had everything we needed household wise, but some items are aging due to use. While the doors are wide enough for a large electric wheelchair, the bathroom toliet in the handicapped bathroom isn't high enough, we carried our own riser in case we ran into that. In the shower for the handicap bathroom the hose was ziptied to keep it securely fastened. The house had a lot of sand, dust and insects in the floor, under all the cushions and under all furniture. Maybe it had been vacant a little while, not sure. The elevator worked well for our wheelchair needs, the host was kind enough to come help us when we weren't able to get it to work when we got there. Overall the lack or cleaning under beds, dead insects and cushions was a little extreme. Everything you need is there for quality family time. Just a needs a lot of TLC by the cleaning staff. WE appreciate the hosts assistance when we had an issue.

Wow is Understatement
This beach home is amazing. This was our second time staying here and we love this home so much. The location cannot be beat. The short path to having your toes in the sand is so relaxing. We love the privacy of the location and not having to trip over people to get to the beach. It’s a private area of homes so no excess people and traffic. We had a lovely time and look forward to booking this again in the future. Plus the ability to have a zero entry shower and an elevator for my wheelchair bound husband is so appreciated and amazing for this close to the beach. Like I said, this is our second time staying and I am sure it won’t be the last.

Location was terrific
To start, before I even left home, communication with Kent was great. Now about the house... The elevator was great for my grandma that has a hard time walking up and down stairs. The room layout was great because each pair of bedrooms had their own bathroom; with the exception of one that has it's own bathroom. The house isn't the closest row of houses to the beach, it's the second row but it still has great views of the water and it has its own boardwalk to the beach. It's not far, you literally walk out of your driveway and across a single lane dirt road and you're on the boardwalk. The home is about a 15-20 min drive down fort Morgan road from the main drag in Gulf Shores where Walmart is and about the same amount of drive the other way out to fort Morgan and the end of the island. It's quiet, and only a few people on the beach in your area. The sandbar let's you walk pretty far out and only be ankle deep in the water. It's a pretty sweet location.

A great house with a well equipped kitchen for those who like to eat in. The large table allowed us all to eat together, which we really appreciated. Single bed bedrooms are on the small side, but the two large living areas and large covered deck with plenty of seating make up for it. A very short walk to the beach, mostly boardwalk. The beach is wonderful and not crowded from the nearby condos. This was our second year here and we'll be returning!!

We had an amazing time. This home is perfect. The space and open floor plan is great for anyone in a wheelchair or super large family’s. The private beach access is the best thing possible in Gulf Shores. Our family had the best time. We will definitely be back again. The elevator is also a huge plus when lugging groceries and luggage.
