"Fantastic place to stay. The hotel grounds were absolutely amazing with the best views. You can see and fell the history. The hotel is open to explore and has multilingual signs to explain the history. The employees were very friendly and helpful. Parking lot outside was huge so very easy to park and secure. The hotel restaurant was delicious with good options. Breakfast was also perfect. Transportation is a bit scarce, however the bus outside the property was easy, also can walk to the village...

"we did late-check-in. but the way that pass the key was really irresponsible and NOT safe, I think. I didnt realize her contact & 24hour contact didn't work, so we took long time to check-in (Guimaraes might be a safe place, but...😥😫) Also "the reception opens at 10am" is too late. the price is really reasonable if guests don't do late-check-in. Great location, comfortable rooms, good food, and most importantly amazing staff that always go the extra mile to make your stay a special one. Special thanks go to Mr. José Mendez who always makes sure that all guests are having a wonderful time.
