"Almost perfect but for a five star hotel a few minor let downs (really minor…). The funicular to the beach was out of order all week, and the beer tap at the pool bar wasn’t working (all week). Service in the main was excellent, but on leaving awaited 25 minutes for someone to come with a car to our villa to take our cases up to reception (very steep 10 minute walk uphill was the alternative). Car never arrived despite calling 3 times so had to walk…."

"I have just returned from a 5 night winter break here. I have travelled extensively but this hotel is up there with some of the best i have stayed in, certainly in Europe. "Our stay at Rok Plaza was absolutely lovely.The hotel itself is charming and perfectly located right by the sea.Kathy was wonderful…her warm welcome and hospitality made us feel right at home.She gave us excellent recommendations for dining and even helped us arrange a car rental,unfortunately there were none available at the time.remember to book a car in advance because they go quickly.
