"We had a great time, beautiful views, easy travel to Varenna, Dervio, had a great meal at the restaurant at bottom of hill near the castle, La Taverna del Castello. We speak very little Italian, but were able to make it around just fine."

"Lovely clean room, friendly staff, a gourmet breakfast spread and a swimming pool overlooking the mountains! We'd happily stay here again. The only downside I can think of is that the walk-in shower floods the bathroom a little because the shower head faces out into the room rather than towards the glass screen (an odd design!)"
