The driveway is suitable for 1 vehicle, but very steep. Please be very careful entering & exiting the driveway. It levels out to a flatter area at the end, but we recommend engaging your parking break. There are 2 off road parking spaces across the street from the home for extra vehicles

Great spot in the redwoods
We had a great time and did wine tasting, shopping, a spa visit and ate terrific food. The house is literally in the redwoods and is spacious and clean. The beds are comfortable. The hot tub is a nice addition. The property management company was responsive. Would definitely stay here again.

An amazing hidden gem

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We found this place by accident and couldn't have been happier. Tucked away in the trees gave us the reset we needed. Absolutely perfect and we WILL be back. And the restaurant at the end of the road had some of the best BBQ we have ever had.

Beautiful house perfect set up with three bedrooms three baths. Beautiful view with a high ceilings and lots of windows in the living room. The amenities were perfect.

Birthday Retreat
Planned a trip to the area for my birthday with a few friends and we had a wonderful time! We all enjoyed the house - it was a perfect home base between our outings. The natural lighting was beautiful and the 3 bathrooms were a bonus. Would definitely recommend a stay here - just be aware of the stairs and steep driveway!

The Wood Chalet
We had family visiting from Tulsa and we absolutely love the Rio Nido area so we wanted to share the experience. Everyone had an amazing experience at this rental. Having separate bathrooms was a huge hit! Gorgeous home with all the amenities we could need.

Wonderful house
We had a wonderful stay. House was lovely and we appreciated the games and things for kids. Very quiet neighborhood and we even saw some deer outside our window. Would stay again.

Russian River
This was our second trip to the Russian River area and our first stay in this beautiful home. We enjoyed everything about it. Its closeness to town/the river and a short drive to other places to see. The house was spotless and we had and plenty of room for 6 adults. The 3 bathrooms is a big plus! Loved walking every morning, so peaceful. My only suggestion would be to put window coverings on the bedroom windows, it felt a little to open to the neighborhood, especially at night but other than that, a perfect trip and we would rent again!!

Wonderful getaway
The place was a great escape into a more natural redwood setting. We were surrounded by beautiful redwoods and the place itself was so clean and modern and very comfortable. The beds were surprisingly so comfortable. So close to downtown Guerneville and what the location has to offer.

Close to downtown Guerneville, several wineries, Redwood Forest and an less than an hour from the coast. Private hot tub was wonderful. Place was clean and bright. Nice room layout for couples or families.

Fantastic getaway nestled in the Redwoods
The Wood Chalet was a truly lovely place to host my out of town parents and show them a lesser-known, but beautiful, part of California. It was quite comfortable, the kitchen was well appointed, and the surroundings were beautiful. Extra props for dinner out on the deck and the hot tub out back.

The Wood Chalet
Beautiful, clean and very homey house. There was everything there that we wanted for a weekend getaway. The beds were very very comfortable. The pellet stove kept the house warm and cozy. We would definitely go back again!

this house was perfect for adult relatives to stay together because each of the three bedrooms has their own bathroom. the kitchen and common living room are open and modern with a vaulted ceiling and a massive window facing a forest of redwood trees. We enjoyed the very large and super clean hot tub. Everything was modern and clean. There are lots of steps from the road to the entrance, which was fine for us, but might be a challenge for some people.

Great stay at the Chalet
The Wood Chalet provided our family with a wonderful and comfortable stay, as well as total convenience being located just a few minutes' drive from Guerneville and the Russian River. The house is in a great neighborhood, which although populated, still felt very peaceful, private and quiet. The house was well stocked with everything we could have needed to enjoy our stay, including toys to entertain the kiddos, and a playground down the street. We ended up extending our stay by a few days because this was such a great space to hang in!

Interesting location
Great for the three couples we had a reach bedroom had is own bath. The property met all our needs. Parking was a bit of a challenge as the hillside parking was moss covered/unuseable, and the street level was very wet. Our only suggestion would be adding window blinds in the bedrooms (even though it's wooded having blinds would preferable).

Charming house in the Redwoods!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house is tucked back in a neighborhood within Rio Nido with a nice walk if desired to the local restaurant and pub. The state park was also an easy 5 minute drive away and well worth it! The house itself is in great shape, we chose not to pull a car in the driveway luckily there is parking along the road. I would suggest adding curtains or blinds to the bedroom windows for more privacy.

Peace and quiet in the redwoods.
We loved this property and location. The home was a perfect fit for our family of 6, including an almost 3 year old. She had her own kitchen set-up, a great surprise. Ideally located near the Armstrong Redwoods, which are not to be missed. Just down the road is Korbel, for some champagne sipping. The hot tub at days end was totally relaxing. Our after-dark walk through the neighborhood brought added surprise with the special lighting outside several homes.

Great getaway!
We loved our stay at the wood chalet! The hosts were very thoughtful. We enjoyed the hot tub in the woods, the fun board games that were available, the well set kitchen! Our little toddler loved playing with the toy kitchen and all the kid books! I would highly recommend, and would definitely want to come back here! My only suggestion for the hosts would be to turn up the heat more before guest arrival. It was quite chilly and took a few hours for the place to warm up the first evening

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Modern, clean, lovely house in a cozy redwood canyon. Best part of the stay: the expansive redwood views out the tall front windows. Well-equipped kitchen and comfortable bedrooms. Would recommend, and return. The only quibbles: noise carries through the thin bedroom doors quite easily (we could hear full conversations happening in the upstairs bedrooms while sitting in the living room). And with no A/C, it would have been nice if all the bedroom windows had screens and there was a fan for each bedroom.

Birthday Getaway
We had an amazing time for my hubbys bday! Very clean and once we got the fireplace going, it was super cozy. Two suggestions.. when we arrived the house was so cold!! 53 degrees amd took hours to warm up, I think it would be nice in the winter to warm it up a little bit. Only other thing was that it took us a while to find the right wifi code and there os zero service. The house binder and the pamphlet have 2 different instructions for wifi. The binder just needs updated!
