Great house - bad management by Vacasa
The house itself was great!
Pre-arrival was confusing b/c the map directions (Google) showed the house next door instead so it lead you to believe the wrong one was being listed.
The stay was good up until he day before we were to checkout when the main gasline to the house was shut off somehow. The gas company was called but they didn't show up until the afternoon. VICASA did not send anyone local out to help and asked us to check out the pilot lights, circuit breakers, gas line ourselves! We had planned a big brunch using the food we had purchased for the week long stay. So, not only did we not have hot water to shower, we could not use the stove or oven to cook. Management did not send any of the local team out to investigate or help - they just called the gas company. Had they sent a local out, they probably could have seen the main gas line had just been shut off and it would have been an immediate fix. We had to have cold breakfast and lunch. So, we moved our big brunch to the day of checkout so we didn't waste all the food we had purchased. We asked for a 1-2 hour delay in our checkout to accommodate this as compensation for being without for nearly an entire day. Management refused our request! VICASA had other rentals in town and could have easily moved us to last on the list to be cleaned and given us the hour we requested!
The entire stay was tainted b/c of such poor customer service! We will not be using any property that uses VICASA as a management company.
