"Great location and lovely hosts. Well equipped cottage although full of dust collecting objet and could do with a spring clean! Beware the steep stairs to upper loft. Not for kids or oldies. Loved the stay, the locals, the walks, the festivals and local swim spots."

I would learn a few words of welcome in my guests language and to explain workings of equipment. "It was a traditional french cottage and was a little basic and lighting was a bit poor at night. But as the weather was good we were outside a lot with the dog and the garden is great. Everything worked in the house but internet reception is quite poor unless you go to the garage.Had not realised we would be opposite other guests in a bigger place but that was no problem and made it interesting.
