"We LOVED our stay here. Our room included wellness and breakfast. The Wellness area offered an indoor pool and hot tub as well as mixed gender steam room. The sauna, relaxation area, cold plunge and change rooms are gender specific. We celebrated our engagement here and they upgraded us to a beautiful premium suite with a balcony. The breakfast was delicious with many different pastries, fruit, yogurt, meats, and cheeses. The property grounds were gorgeous - I recommend walking around to check out the view. We wished we’d booked another night! "

"We loved this hotel. It is right by the ferry and there is a market next door for any items you may have forgotten. Our room wasn't real big but sufficient. Great breakfast and great view. The hotel staff were very friendly, especially the bellhop! He was great! Been there close to 50 years. "

"The Walter Hotel is the Perfect Hotel!! You cannot beat the location ! Just a few minutes from the furnucular, taxi stop and cross walk in front of the hotel entrance. Outstanding Spaghetti Store restaurant next door. I got lucky when I found this hotel!!"

"This hotel was exceptional in accommodation and service. The view from the balcony was stunning. Unfortunately we were only there for a night and did not have a chance to use the spa services but look forward to returning for a longer stay"
