"Loved everything about this hotel. Starting from the lobby, to the room, the roof bar, everything was exceptional. Love the staff too. So helpful and welcoming. I planned my timing wrong so I was in Montevideo when the city is totally empty and quiet but I considered extending my stay just because of the hotel. That is how good it was! "

"Everyone was friendly, helpful and they were able to extend an early check-in which I always appreciate. The room was very clean. I have fairly high standards regarding cleanliness and I found nothing was missed. The breakfast buffet was nice but nothing memorable. What was memorable was the view. Absolutely stunning. I can’t stress enough how worth it is to pay for the view upgrade. The location was convenient. I look forward to returning. "

"Everything was perfect. The personnel was friendly, courteous and very knowledgeable. The facilities are just a dream and the bed something to look forward to at the end of each day. I spent a week there and I’m already looking Forward to return. The only down side is that although I am a recurring customer that did not accommodate an early check in since my flight arrived early morning. That was a down point and something to consider when book. "

"Very dissatisfied. Room smell like sewage. There were no bug screen on windows for us to allow windows to remain open to ventilate space. Electrical outlets did not work in the bathroom, kitchen fan was not working. And at checkout the lady accused us of tearing the fabric window curtains. We tried to explain they were like that when walked in. And she said she doubted that. And was rude about it. Mattress were so thin you could feel the wooden boards "

"The home is very comfortable and a great location between Montevideo and Punta del Este. The closest town is Piriapolis, about 7 minutes' drive and the beaches there are very nice. The beach at the home is also nice for sunbathing, but it's very rocky and not suitable for swimming. There are restaurants up and down the coast and one winery close by, Cerro Del Torro, that offers lunch and tasting.
