I have stayed at this hotel numerous times. Its a geeat hotel for the price. Great breakfast. The checkin was brutal. Extremely slow. About 8 people ahead of me and took 40 minutes and the line got longer.

Beautiful facilities; helpful staff; excellent breakfast buffet; sushi restaurant was okay. Would definitely recommend. The surrounding neighborhood is not that safe to walk around in as dusk approaches. Also, our GPS took us to a different "Barcelo" that was in almost an industrial area several blocks away. So be very sure to choose the correct Barcelo!
