There was no presence of management. When I needed assistance, there was no magenta for 2 days? Not acceptable! Bartenders kept serving their regulars and would skip me constantly. Never coming back here.

I love the fact that it's right right at Paseo Cayala, and once you park you don't have to leave the premises to have a great time, all the restaurants and bars are around walkable area, and the staff at AC Marriott are always pleasant and accommodating

At the moment (Dec 2024) there’s construction going on in the building next door. That caused noise. For $250 the room was a bit tight in space and our view from the window was a brick wall of a building next door. Got a room here only because of the surrounding shops and restaurants. Also a safe area (zone 16) to be in compared to the rest of Guatemala City.

Había estado contemplando la idea de quedarme en su conocido hotel de lujo por mucho tiempo y finalmente decidí dar ese paso. Sin embargo, lamento decir que la experiencia no cumplió con mis expectativas 😓. Primero, creo que es uno de los hoteles más caros en los que me he hospedado en Guatemala 🤔. Entendiendo que el precio puede ser justificado por el área en la que se encuentra, debo decir que los resultados no justificaban el costo. A pesar de que el personal del hotel fue muy atento 👍, encontré varios problemas durante mi estancia. Estimado equipo del hotel, Algunos de los inconvenientes presentes se debían a una vista limitada desde nuestra habitación, la falta de señal en la televisión 📺 y, además, mi esposo y yo terminamos encerrados en el gimnasio 🏋️‍♂️por un rato ya que nadie atendía nuestras llamadas para asistirnos. Otro factor que sumó a mi decepción fue mi intento fallido de usar las escaleras interiores. Solo pude acceder a las escaleras exteriores y no pude regresar debido a la falta de indicaciones claras 😕. La última gota fue cuando intentamos usar la cafetera ☕ y no pudimos, o estaba demasiado complicada para comprender o simplemente no funcionaba. Habiendo pagado más de 200 dólares por mi estancia, la decepción es grande y me cuestiono si me hospedaría nuevamente allí ⚖️. Sin embargo, seguiré visitando Cayala. Esperamos que tomen en cuenta estas observaciones, gracias! Saludos,

This was our first trip to Guatemala and to this Marriott. Everything was perfect. It was very, very clean and the staff was always friendly and helpful. We are going back to that city in a few months, and we will be staying there again.
