Modern south facing Apartment with Sun Terrace 10 minute walk to sandy beach.

This modern airy south facing basement apartment with two sun terraces and private entrance is only a few minutes walk through wooded dunes to a lovely clean sandy beach and includes bikes that are free to use to explore the area during your stay.

It has a large open plan living area including a well equipped kitchen with breakfast bar and a flat screen TV with channels to cater for most languages. There is high speed Fibre Optic WIFI (up to 600MB) and a hot and cold air conditioning unit (on a pay as you use basis). There is also a small dining table and chairs.

There are two bedrooms which includes a master bedroom with a king size bed, large fitted wardrobe with chest of drawers, ceiling fan and safe. The small bedroom has a double bed with clothes storage.

The large bathroom has a walk in shower, basin with backlit mirror and WC with towels included.

Outside there’s south facing lower sun terrace with parasol ideal for eating and drinking and then there’s the upper terrace where you can use the loungers to soak up the sun. The award winning beach is only a short walk through the pine dunes and during the summer is patrolled by lifeguards and is perfect for walking either to La Mata one way or Guardamar the other.
There are three restaurant/bars and a small supermarket within easy walking distance. One of the restaurants (El Bosque Animado) regularly features live music at the weekends.
The typically Spanish coastal town of La Mata is approx 25 mins walk away where you'll find a wide selection of bars, restaurants and shops to suit all tastes and a well stocked Supermarket. The larger towns of Torrevieja and Guardamar are also just a few minutes drive or taxi ride away.
There is a very good Cycle Path that runs all the way into Guardamar or La Mata in the opposite direction where you can use the bikes to explore one of the many Salt Lakes and Nature Reserves and beyond.

There are bikes to available to use free of charge with helmets provided.

Bed Linen, Towels and Beach Towels are provided.

Airport transfers can be arranged at an extra cost.

Modern, well-equipped, economical apartment ideal for couple or small family.
The photos very accurately described the contents and fittings of the apartment, the open plan kitchen living space, 2 double bedrooms and well appointed bathroom. Having so recently been fitted out, all the fixtures and fittings looked brand new/hardly used. The kitchen was above average for this size of accommodation having fully-sized washing machine and ceramic hob and ample cupboard storage. The supply of cleaning materials and some kitchen basics like tea, coffee, store-cupboard items was excellent. The host was readily available and responded promptly to any enquires we had. Some tips of things to do locally was very welcome and we used the bikes for some local exploring. The location (with a car) was excellent being just off the N332 but also the beach was just a few minutes walk away accessed via a short road/wooden walkway. The beach extends for miles north and south backed by dunes, a welcome respite to the busier beach locations further south. During our stay in mid winter we did not need to use any heating as the indoor temperature was very constant. If you need TV entertainment, the WiFi enabled TV offered a plethora of channels.

Quiet location
I thoroughly enjoyed my one week stay at this cleverly conceived basement conversion. It is fully equipped with everything needed for a self catering holiday. The apartment is a pleasant walk away along a stunning nearby beach to the small and friendly resort of La Mata. And although it is a quiet spot there are a couple of good places to eat nearby and a friendly local bar. A car is not essential but would be handy for anyone less than fully mobile. Maria and Andy were excellent and welcoming hosts. They were always available and ready to help in any way.

Des vacances de rêves
Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans ce logement très agréable, fonctionnel et tout équipé. Pour nous qui aimons la mer et le soleil, la superbe plage de sable fin de Guardamar est à moins de 10 minutes à pied. Nous nous sommes bien reposés car le lieu est calme et dispose d’une bonne climatisation. Autre avantage le logement est très bien situé, car on peut accéder directement à une piste cyclable pour aller à pied ou en vélo à La Mata ou à Guardamar et pour visiter Torrevieja il faut 10 minutes en voiture. Les propriétaires sont très gentils et agréables nous y retournerons avec grand plaisir.
